GQEBERHA – Police in Swartkops are looking for the suspect responsible for the killing of a 26-year-old shop owner on Sunday night 08 August 2021.

Police were notified of the murder when the deceased was taken to Motherwell Clinic where he passed away due to a gunshot wound to his stomach. It is believed that Mr Sowora Haile was at his shop in Nomvete Street, Wells Estate with his assistant, when the suspect shot him. The motive for the attack is still being investigated.

A case of murder is investigated by Swartkops police.
