26-year-old Suspect arrested with dagga

MACLEAR – On Sunday, 19 July 2020 members of Crime Prevention Unit successfully arrested a 26-year-old suspect with dagga.
The members were busy with crime prevention patrols at around 19:50 when they received information regarding dagga dealing activity.
They followed up the information and they proceeded to Old location in Maclear and searched the identified house.
A 26-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested and dagga with a weight of 2,05kg and a street value of R2606-00 was seized.
The Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Rudulph Adolph commended the members for their vigilance and swift action and thanked the community for the positive contribution to our fight against crime.
