Alleged tax fraudster sought by the hawks for R28million fraud

MPUMALANGA – Sifiso Innocent Mabuza (39) is sought by the Nelspruit based Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation for fraud and contravention of tax administration Act.

It is alleged that during 2018 and 2021, Mabuza who was the director of Shishila Rural Trading submitted fraudulent tax returns to South African Revenue Services (SARS) and prejudiced the receiver of revenue an amount of R28 million. The investigation team managed to trace Mabuza and he promised to hand himself over which he never did.

The court has issued a warrant for his arrest hence he is sought. Anyone who knows of the whereabouts of Mabuza is urged to contact the Investigating Officer on the case, Lieutenant Colonel Thabelo Takalani on 071 481 2848.
