FREE STATE – Bloemspruit Detectives are investigating the murder of a 50-year-old male who was an employee of CENTLEC Intervention Section in Mangaung Metro Municipality.

According to reports, the victim arrived at his home in Cuban Street, Pine Haven and parked the vehicle at about 21:30. The family members then heard gunshots from outside and rushed out to see what was happening. They then found him lying on the ground. The police and paramedics were summoned to the scene and the victim, with several gunshot wounds, was declared dead.

A case of murder was opened at Bloemspruit Police Station. Any member of the public who might have information that can help the police in the investigation of the case or lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact Constable Sechaba Tsholo at 082 8547 532.
