Police are seeking our community assistance in identifying an unknown male and the circumstances that lead to his death, after police found his body in bushes near St Georges strand On Firday (18/3/2022) at about 12:15.

Swartkops police members on patrol were stopped by a passer-by and informed of the body, and on closer inspection, discovered the decomposing body of an adult male in the bushes, wearing only a yellow short sleeve Tshirt. The identity of the male remains unknown.

An inquest case have been opened and being investigated by Swartkops SAPS, and any person with information that can assist police with this investigation can contact Swartkops Detectives , Warrant Officer Van Der Berg at 082 442 1684 or 08600 10111.
