Despatch Police seek murder suspects and next of kin: Gqeberha

GQEBERHA – SAPS Despatch detectives are urgently seeking the communities assistance in tracing the murder suspects as well as the next of kin of a unidentified man who was found murdered in bushes behind Sansouci Road between Jagvlakte and Logistic Park in Despatch.

It is alleged that on Friday morning, 15 April 2022, police were alerted to a body of a man found in an open field. Preliminary investigation indicates that on Thursday evening, 14 April 2022, at about 23:00, three unknown males were seen assaulting the man. He sustained multiple open wounds and bruises to his body as well as burns on both feet. The suspects then drove off in a red taxi. The deceased was dressed in a blue T-shirt and silk army sleeping shorts. He had a silver ring on his right index finger.

The motive, suspects and the deceased are unknown at this stage. Police investigation continues.
