Ericsson's Sub-Saharan Africa Boss to Host African Night At #mwc15

Ericsson is set to host a theme night at next week’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) with the focus being the development of the telecoms industry in Africa. The dinner invite has been signed by Jejdling, President, Ericsson sub-Saharan Africa.
The African Night – to be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Esferic, Plaça de Dante – will also focus on how mobile broadband is changing people’s lives through inclusion and empowerment. The dinner is also expected to provide guests with an opportunity to network.
The African Night’s guest includes former South African president Thabo Mbeki; Andrew Rugege, Regional Director for Africa, International Telecommunication Union (ITU); Arthur Bastings, Executive VP Africa of Millicom; Tony Dolton, CEO, Unitel; Christian De Faria, CEO, Airtel Africa and Karel Pienaar, Group Chief Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Officer, MTN Group.
Also set to be attend the dinner is Hans Vestberg, CEO and President, Ericsson who will use the occasion to share the firm’s vision around the ecosystem that will facilitate the mobile growth and development in Africa. African Rocket Scientist, Harvard Graduate and Innovator, Siyabulela Xuza, will also inspire us with his vision for Africa.
Apart from the presentation during the dinner, various Ericsson execs are also expected to speak at MWC. These include Anders Lindblad, SVP and Head of Business Unit, Ckoud and IP; Arun Bansal, SVP and Head of Business Unit, Radio; Cecilia Atterwal, VP and Head of Strategy, Marketing and Communications and Dr Virtyt Koshi, VP and Global Practice Head, Cloud & Communication Solutions. Other top Ericsson execs listed as speakers at the 2015 MWC are Rima Qureshi, SVP, CSO and Head of M&A as well as Ulf Ewaldsson, SVP, Group CTO and Head if Group Function Technology.
