Items Valued Over N.dollars 50,000 Stolen in Okapya Village Burglary

Okapya village: The police in the Oshana Region are actively investigating a burglary at Okapya village, where items valued at N.dollars 54,200 were stolen from a residence. The incident, which occurred on Saturday night, has prompted a probe into the circumstances surrounding the theft.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila of the Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) Oshana Crime Investigations reported that the burglary took place while the homeowner was in the bathroom, with the door closed but not locked. Upon returning to the bedroom, the resident discovered the theft of an Apple watch, an Apple phone, a wallet, and a cooler box.

Deputy Commissioner Ndjadila mentioned that footprints, believed to be those of the suspect, were tracked to a nearby tarred road before they vanished. Police efforts to solve the case are ongoing as they continue their investigation into the burglary.
