Levubu police participated in crime awareness campaigns

On Sunday 26 February 2023, the Station Commander of Levubu SAPS Lieutenant Colonel Hangwani Mahafha conducted crime awareness campaign at Ha Mutsha village in Tshirangadzi community block.

Lieutenant Colonel Mahafha was in company of the Social Crime Prevention Coordinator Warrant Officer Malatjie, Acting Branch Commander Warrant Officer Mudogwa, Sector Commander Sergeant Sibeyi, Gender Based Violence (GBV) Coordinator Sergeant Makulana and Community Policing Forum (CPF) official Mr Nndwambi.

Councillors, Sancho, Business Against Crime and Ward Committees were also in attendance to address crimes which are occurring around Mutsha village.

They include Gender Based Violence (GBV), theft of cables, common robberies, fraud, illegal immigrants, neighbourhood watch, illegal shebeens, house and business robbery.

Lastly, the public were encouraged to report any criminal activities which are happening in the policing area.
