KWAZULU-NATAL – On 14 December 2022, Amanzimtoti Magistrate Court convicted and sentenced Rajendran Pillay (50) for unlawful possession of ammunition which happened at Malukazi area near Isipingo.
Rajendran was arrested by the Hawks members from Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation after he was found in possession of six live rounds of ammunition.
He was sentenced to two years imprisonment or to pay R10 000-00 fine.
