Manhunt launched after cash was robbed at gun point at Hennenman Post Office

The acting branch manager was at work with his female colleague when four armed suspects robbed them of cash and their personal belongings. Four suspects on the loose.

On Saturday, 03 September 2022 at about 11:30 a 36-year-old acting Branch Manager was with his female colleague behind the counter at Hennenman Post Office. Apparently there were no customers when the four suspects entered and two of them pointed them with handguns. They were instructed to open the aluminium door for them to enter. They were then tied up with cable ties and forced inside the bathrooms.

Undisclosed amount of cash was robbed from the safes and the victims’ personal belongings were robbed. No vehicle was seen and the suspects left the scene on foot.
