The Police Ministry and SAPS Management led by Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will today 04 September 2022, return to West Village in the West Rand. The police top brass will conduct a sight visit to the area which has seen the deployment of specialised SAPS units to stabilise the area following the gang rape of eight women on 27 July 2022.

During this visit the Police Ministry and SAPS management will interact with community members during a walk-about on the streets of West Village and assess how far safety and security concerns they raised, are being addressed.
