Two rhino horn traffickers sentenced to 18 years imprisonment, with six years suspended, by the Ermelo regional court on July 1, 2024, for possession of four rhino horns.
According to South African Government News Agency, The conviction and sentence of three Botswana nationals confirmed on appeal, with sentences totaling 36 years imprisonment for murder, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, illegal entry into the country, and rhino hunting without a permit.
