HLANGANANI – The Police in Hlanganani jointly with Giyani SAPS in collaboration with various stakeholders have yesterday, 11 June 2021 conducted safer school awareness campaign at Marhorhwani Malele Secondary School in Olifatshoek Village.

The campaign was led by communication officers Warrant Officer Steve Makhubele and Constable Ridgewell Rikhotso, social crime prevention coordinator Sergeant Mashaba, CPF and YCOP.

A total of 720 learners were sensitized about the following topics:

*Drugs and alcohol abuse.

*Juvenile delinquency.

*Teenage pregnancy.

*Hitchhiking.

*Human trafficking.

*Mob justice.

The school management commended the relentless efforts by Police to ensure learners remain safe in schools.
