QONCE – Following a burglary at a house at Zone 4, Zwelitsha outside QONCE recently, police embarked on an intelligence driven operation. Information led them to a house at Mdantsane.

On searching the premises, they found 5 plasma TV sets, clothing, speakers, 9mm pistol, fire arm safe and ammunition. Three suspects aged between 27 and 30 years of age were arrested and will be charged with burglary, possession of unlicensed fire arm and ammunition and possession of suspected stolen property. They will appear before the Zwelitsha magistrate’s court soon.
