Provincial Commissioner appreciative of conferences held in orderly manner

NELSPRUIT – The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has appreciated the manner in which three conferences, one of ANC Ehlanzeni Region, and the other of ANC Gert Sibande Region as well as that of SADTU were quietly held. The said conferences were separately held, at Badplaas (for Gert Sibande), Ingwenyama Lodge in White River (for Ehlanzeni Region) and Pine Lake Inn at White River (for SADTU) in the province over the weekend.

Similarly to the excellent services rendered during the provincial conference of the ANC that was held more than a week ago, the SAPS members in partnership with their counterparts within the PROVJOINT Structure exceptionally performed their duties again in the gatherings held. Reports indicate that things ran smoothly without any hustle or threats in all the three gatherings.

Once again the participants and delegates conducted themselves in a professional way meanwhile the law enforcement agencies carried out their duties well and displayed their expertise in the field of policing such magnitude of gatherings which were simultaneously held. These activities are part of the new dispensation and their success thereof proofs that the country has matured in Democracy.

The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has highlighted the significance of having peaceful conferences in the Democratic country. “Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to the law enforcement agencies for performing their duties beyond the expectations whilst ensuring that there is peace and stability. Their commitment and dedication in providing excellent services thereby ensuring peaceful gatherings have been noted with much appreciation. We also applaud the partakers in the three conferences for the way they conducted themselves as leaders, which brings hope for the future” said the General.
