Provincial games against crime in full swing in Mdantsane

Ending the June Youth Month on a high note, the Eastern Cape’s two day event Youth Sport’s Against Crime games kick started and are now underway at Wongalethu High school in Mdantsane, East London.

The event forms part of the youth month celebrations currently taking place in the entire province. This particular event is also held in combination with the Provincial Youth structure’s engagements as they are preparing to attend the National Youth Crime Prevention Summit which will take place in Pretoria next week.

The young lions in the Province are taking the lead in the fight against crime and are mobilising each and every young person to form part of this revolution to assist the SAPS in its mandate of ensuring peace, law and order for all citizens through sports and strategic debating sessions. Final games of the tournament and the award ceremony will take place tomorrow.
