MELODING – On 23 December 2022 members of Crime Intelligence together with Meloding SAPS operationalised information about a suspect who was in possession of an unlicensed firearm. A 29-year-old suspect was arrested in Meloding for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The suspect will appear in the Virginia Magistrate Court on 28 December 2022.
The District Commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Maj Gen Lerato Molale applauded residents of Meloding for sharing the information with the police and commended Crime Intelligence and Meloding SAPS members for their quick response.
