Dutywa SAPS Women’s Network together with Men for Change conducted an operation in the CBD on 11 August 2022. As part of crime prevention, members were patrolling the area and vehicles and people around town were searched. During the stop and search they arrested a 26-year-old male for possession of dagga and four other suspects aged between 26 and 40-years were issued with traffic fines that worth R3400.00 for driving motor vehicle without driving licence and unlicensed motor vehicle.

Police confiscated 4 packets of dagga, one shopping plastic bag full of dagga and dangerous weapons.

The suspects are due to appear at Dutywa Magistrates’ Court on 12 August 2022.
