WESTERN CAPE – Vigilant members of Hermanus police arrested a 23-year-old male for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition in Mbeki Street, Zwelilhle, early this morning, 15 March 2022.

The members were busy with patrols when they saw the male walking in the road and when he saw the police vehicle he started to run. The members pursued the suspect and apprehended him. He was searched and found in possession of a 9mm pistol with ammunition.

Once charged the suspect will appear in the Hermanus Magistrates court on the mentioned charges.
