WESTERN CAPE – The Western Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Patekile led the foot soldiers comprising of members of the SAPS, Metro Police and Law Enforcement in an operation in Khayelitsha, late yesterday, 03 February 2023.

The operation started with a parade at Squadron, Belhar where the General emphasized that the members should close in on criminals. He also appealed to the members to be cautious and safe when executing their duties at all times.

Stop and search operation was held in Khayelitsha, at a certain liquor outlet that members of the community complained about. This operation was succeeded by a similar operation at Lingelethu West and all hands were on deck doing crime prevention duties in ensuring communities are and feel safe.
