{"id":52671,"date":"2022-12-13T11:15:43","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T11:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricatribune.com\/?p=52671"},"modified":"2022-12-14T11:17:28","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T11:17:28","slug":"girlfriend-in-court-for-murdering-a-police-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricatribune.com\/girlfriend-in-court-for-murdering-a-police-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Girlfriend in court for murdering a police officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GAUTENG \u2013 Bongiwe Praise Magwaza (22) is expected to return to the Boksburg Magistrates\u2019 Court tomorrow, 14 December 2022 where she is facing a charge of murder.<br \/>\nIt is alleged that on 02 December 2022, Sergeant Kgopotso Ntsana (34) stationed at Elsburg police station was murdered by his girlfriend after a fight that ensued between the couple in Leomakalapa next to Windmill Park Estate in Boksburg.<br \/>\nIt is further alleged that during the dispute, Ntsana cut Magwaza\u2019s hair then she disarmed, stabbed and shot him. She then fled to a \u2018friend\u2019s place\u2019 in Germiston. On Saturday, 3 December 2022 she returned to the house and found Ntsana\u2019s body with a gunshot wound to the head then she informed her neighbours who alerted the authorities.<br \/>\nPreliminary investigation led to Magwaza\u2019s arrest at the crime scene and she appeared in court on 7 December 2022 where she was remanded in custody.
